In this election, the contest was between two alliances of 6 big parties. Mahayuti includes BJP, Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde) and NCP (Ajit Pawar), while Mahavikas Aghadi includes Congress, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray) and NCP (Sharad Pawar).
BJP, which contested on 149 seats, has won maximum 132 seats. His alliance won a record 230 seats out of 288. BJP’s strike rate was 88%. The Congress-led Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) got 46 seats.
