Isac Andic, founder of Spanish fashion giant Mango, has died in an accident. Andic, 71, fell into a 320-feet deep gorge in the Collabato Caves area of a Salnitre near Barcelona. The company announced this on Saturday. Mango CEO Tony Ruiz said in a statement that Andic dedicated his life to Mango. Andik’s demise has left a huge void. According to a report published in Forbes, Andic, who served as the non-executive chairman of the company, had a net worth of $4.5 billion. He founded the Mango brand in Barcelona, Spain in 1984. According to the company’s website, Mango is one of the top fashion groups in Europe. It has more than 120 stores. The company’s sales were to exceed US$3.2 billion in 2023. According to Mango’s website, the company currently operates 40 stores in the US and plans to open 20 more stores in the next year.
