The death toll in the massive fire that broke out at Hotel Flourish Stay in Malviya Nagar, Delhi has increased to 23. A Bangladeshi woman died during treatment on Wednesday. Earlier on Tuesday, a Nigerian citizen died during treatment in the hospital.
The deceased was a female citizen of Bangladesh, who had come to India for treatment. But, she got burnt in the fire that broke out in the hotel on June 3. Treatment of other people injured in the accident is still going on. Police and related agencies are investigating the cause of the fire.

Tourist car overturns in Tamil Nadu, 14 people of same family seriously injured
A tourist vehicle went out of control and overturned near Ooty in Nilgiri district of Tamil Nadu on Wednesday. 14 people of the same family from Andhra Pradesh were seriously injured in the accident. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital.
According to police, the 22-member family from Akkayyapalem area of Visakhapatnam were returning home after visiting various tourist destinations including Mysuru and Ooty.
When his vehicle reached near Nandagopal Bridge on Coonoor Ghat Road in Nilgiri district, the vehicle lost control and overturned on the road.
High Court seeks response from police on bail of accused Tahir in Delhi riots case
The Delhi High Court has sought a response from Delhi Police within 4 weeks on the bail plea of Tahir Hussain, an accused in the 2020 North-East Delhi riot case and former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councilor. The court has fixed the next hearing of the case on July 14.
The court has also given time to the police to respond to the application condoning the delay of 87 days in filing the appeal. Tahir Hussain has challenged the January 29 order of the Karkardooma Court, in which his bail plea was rejected.
Delhi CM orders suspension of two doctors in Rs 650 crore scam case
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has adopted a tough stance after a massive scam of Rs 650 crore in the purchase of medicines and medical equipment came to light in the Delhi Government’s Central Procurement Agency (CPA).
Vigilance raids revealed that medicines, ORS and medical equipment were purchased for government hospitals at prices 10 to 15 times higher than the market price.
Chief Minister Gupta said in his ex-post that he has taken suo motu cognizance of this matter. Instructions have been issued to register an FIR and suspend 2 doctors in this case.
