Earthquake tremors were felt in many parts of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday night. The epicenter of the earthquake was in the Hindukush region of Afghanistan, where its intensity was recorded at 5.3 on the Richter scale. The earthquake occurred at around 11:27 pm. As soon as the tremors were felt, many people came out of their homes as a precaution. However, till now no loss of life or property has been reported in Jammu and Kashmir or Afghanistan. According to the information, the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 185 kilometers in the Hindukush region of Afghanistan. The administration is keeping an eye on the situation.
