Overseas Congress Chairman and senior Congress leader Sam Pitroda has claimed that during Rahul Gandhi’s foreign tours, Indian Embassy officials keep an eye on him and many times he is asked not to meet foreign leaders.
Pitroda spoke to India Today on Thursday about Rahul’s visit. In this he said- I myself have seen that Rahul Gandhi’s activities are monitored at his hotels, meetings and airports. Although there is no evidence for this, but I am saying this based on experience.
Pitroda rejected BJP’s allegations against Rahul of damaging the country’s image. On the timing of the Germany tour, he said that foreign trips are not decided suddenly, rather their program is made months in advance.

- Regarding the violence against minorities in Bangladesh, he said that India should first pay attention to its neighborhood. There is no justification for violence wherever it happens. If India wants to become a ‘Vishwa Guru’ then first it will have to show leadership for stability and peace in its neighborhood Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

BJP had said- Rahul Gandhi’s Congress wants anarchy
BJP had launched a scathing attack on Rahul on Tuesday over his statement. BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala had said- Rahul goes abroad, defames India, tells lies. He is not a leader of opposition but a leader of propaganda. He said that China is progressing in Germany. Praise China, defame India, this has now become Rahul Gandhi’s identity.”
BJP leader Pradeep Bhandari alleged that Rahul and Congress want to spread anarchy and unrest in Indian democracy. Pradeep Bhandari wrote on X, ‘Rahul Gandhi says that if people fight among themselves, India will fail. Would anyone who loves India want to see India fail?
