Andhra Pradesh police have arrested four people for smuggling sandalwood. Police have also seized a mini lorry, a tractor and a two-wheeler along with 158 logs of red sandalwood worth Rs 1.91 crore.
Regarding the incident, SP Siddharth Kaushal said that action was taken during checking on Proddaturu-Yerraguntla road near Potladurthi village in Kadapa district. We have arrested 4 people so far. Its mastermind and others have also been identified. They will also be arrested soon.
