Indian -origin American leader Johran Mamdani has gone ahead in the race to become a mayor candidate from the Democrat Party. Mamdani took an edge by defeating former Governor Andrew Kuomo in the Democratic Primary election for the post of Mayor of New York Town on Tuesday night.
