According to the viral video, the dispute between the elderly and the passengers who were fighting started over the seat. In the video, it is seen that a crowd of about 10-12 people surround the elderly and threaten him. After this, the crowd opens his compartment and sees that non-veg food is visible.
Regarding this, the crowd asks him what is in these boxes? Where are you going? Where have you come from? Are there no goats there? How many people are going to eat this meat? During this, the old man tells them that there is goat meat and not beef in the boxes. The old man is seen pleading with the crowd, but the crowd keeps beating him.
The old man told the crowd that he lives in Jalgaon and is taking meat to his daughter’s house in Malegaon. But the crowd was not satisfied with this answer and kept questioning the old man. Along with this, these people kept making a video of this incident.
During this entire incident, the old man says that there is buffalo meat in his boxes. On this, a person from the crowd says that whose meat is this, it will be known only when it is tested. Another person says that our month of Sawan is going on and you are doing such a thing.
It is seen in the video that the old man has two boxes containing meat. The crowd asks him whose meat is this, to which the old man replies that it is goat meat.

NCP leader said- 80% people in Maharashtra eat non-veg, such incidents cannot be tolerated
NCP (Sharad Chandra Pawar) leader Jitendra Awhad condemned the incident and raised questions on the law and order situation in the state. He said that some youths beat up an old man because they thought he was carrying beef. This is not Maharashtra, this is not our culture. Where will all this stop?
He said that 80% people in Maharashtra eat non-veg. This is our Maharashtra. 95% people living in coastal areas are non-vegetarian. We respect all religions. We also respect the Jain community, but what kind of hatred is this to beat up people on the basis of suspicion. By now the accused must have fled. Did they not feel ashamed of beating up a person of their father’s age?
