PM Modi was on a tour of West Bengal on Sunday. He held a rally in Jhargram. During this time, he stopped at a shop on the way and ate Jhalmuri.
While making Jhalmuri, the shopkeeper asked whether you eat onion. PM replied- Yes, I eat onion, just not my brain. Hearing this the shopkeeper started laughing.
The PM shared a 40-second video of his meeting with the shopkeeper on his social media account. Also shared some pictures.

Now read the conversation between the shopkeeper and Modi…
PM Modi: Brother, feed us your Jhalmuri.
Shopkeeper: Come sir, absolutely.
PM Modi: How much is Jhalmuri
Shopkeeper: How much will you eat?
Modi: No, no, how much does the good one cost?
Shopkeeper: 10 rupees and 20 rupees.
Modi: Whatever it is, make it.
Shopkeeper: Ok
Modi: (Taking out money from pocket) How much do you want to give? 10 rupees, take this.
Shopkeeper: Oh no sir (then he took it on the PM’s request)
Shopkeeper: eat onions
PM: Yes, I eat onions, it’s just that no one cares.

The shopkeeper gave Jhalmuri in a paper bag to the PM.

The PM gave Jhalmuri in the hands of the children present there.

The PM also joked while the shopkeeper was making Jhalmuri.
The shopkeeper said- never thought that PM would come to the shop
The shop where PM had gone to eat Jhalmuri. The name of that shopkeeper is Bikram Saav, he is a resident of Bihar. Now lives in Bengal with his parents. Bikram said- I never thought that the Prime Minister would come to my shop and eat Jhalmuri. I made Jhalmuri for them. I refused to take the money and they gave it to me by force. After eating he said that it was good.
PM asked about studies, I told that due to poverty I could not study much. Then the PM asked about the earnings – I said that I earn Rs 1000-1200. He stayed in the shop for about 10 minutes and did not talk about politics.
4 big things from PM’s speech in Bengal; Said- TMC has cheated, punish them
- TMC has betrayed the sisters of Bengal: The sisters of Bengal wanted that they should get 33 percent reservation. Modi tried for this also. But TMC did not want a large number of daughters of Bengal to become MLAs and MPs. Because these daughters are challenging their jungle king.
- We will do permanent surgery of TMC: I understand the pain of the farmers and youth here. I say that as long as TMC syndicate remains in the mandis, exploitation will continue. You bring BJP government, we will do permanent surgery on TMC.
- TMC is scared of the roar of the tiger: TMC government is scared of the roar of Bengal Tiger. This Bengal Tiger is the people here. I am giving the last chance to TMC people to surrender in their respective police stations. Because after May 4, no criminal will be able to escape.
- Fear of results is visible in the language of TMC leaders: Bengal elections are going to make new history. TMC’s period of fear is about to end and BJP’s period of service is about to come. The impact of what will be the results of May 4 is already visible in the language of TMC leaders.
