धुरंधर एक्टर राकेश बेदी संभालेंगे आरसीएल की कप्तानी: भूख के खिलाफ क्रिकेट से बदलाव की पहल, अब हर रन भरेगा भूखों की थाली

The Bollywood party was decorated, stars gathered and cricket was discussed, but this time it is not just about fours and sixes. Actor Rakesh Bedi will captain the cricket field and his every run will have a connection with the needy. RCL Season 4 will see a combination of cricket, entertainment and social concern, where victory will not only be about the trophy but will also be about satisfying someone’s hunger. Restaurant Cricket League i.e. RCL Season-4 was announced in Mumbai in the presence of stars from the entertainment world. Usually, artists come into limelight by being associated with films, shooting or new projects, but this time the story is different. Actor Rakesh Bedi will now be seen captaining the cricket field along with acting in front of the camera. Bedi, who came into limelight with the film ‘Dhurandhar’, will take charge of RCL Superstars-11. But the story of this league is not limited to just stars, bats and fours and sixes. RCL Season 4 has been linked to the ‘Hunger Free India’ campaign. The special message of the competition to be held in New Delhi in October is – ’10 runs = 100 meals’. That means every 10 runs scored on the field will not only increase the scoreboard but will also try to provide food to 100 needy people. This time, every run that comes from the batsman’s bat will be a hope to reach someone’s plate. Arvind Kumar, founder of RCL and ‘Hunger Free India’ campaign, said that this initiative started with the idea of using the popularity of cricket for the society. He says that on one hand millions of people are struggling to get enough food, while on the other hand a large amount of edible food is wasted. In such a situation, instead of going into the dustbin, the food should reach the plate of the needy. From farmers to deaf women’s cricket team, teams from different sections and regions of the society will participate in RCL Season 4. These include teams of transgender people, Indian women’s deaf cricket team, farmers, influential personalities, chefs, Delhi Police and teams from Delhi Public School Indirapuram. A team of friends from Nepal led by Chef Ratna Tamang will also be a part of the competition. Former Indian cricketer Atul Wasan is also associated with this initiative. He said that the biggest feature of RCL is its social objective. In cricket, runs, records and averages are usually discussed, but here every run can become a medium of food for the needy. Farmer’s influential personality Jugadu Kamlesh told that farmers of Indian villages will also take to the cricket field this time. He says that farmers feed the country and now the same farmers will play a part in this campaign against hunger. Many people associated with the film industry including actors Raza Murad, Sunil Pal, Bindu Dara Singh, Shahbaz Khan and Arun Bakshi were present in the program. The aim of RCL Season 4 is not just to win the competition. According to the organizers, this time the runs made on the field will also give a message against hunger, wastage of food and social responsibility. The real victory in this competition will be achieved when food reaches the plates of as many needy people as possible through cricket.
