In the Parliament complex scuffle case, the National Commission for Women (NCW) has demanded action from Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Rajya Sabha Chairman against Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi.
NCW Chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar on Friday expressed concern over the alleged misbehavior with Nagaland MP Phangnon Konyak. He said that it is very important to maintain the respect, equality and dignity of women in Parliament.
Rajya Sabha member from Nagaland Phangnon Konyak has alleged that when she was protesting in the Parliament complex, Rahul Gandhi came close to her and started shouting. This made him feel uncomfortable. Taking cognizance of this matter, the Women’s Commission itself has written a letter.
Actually, on Thursday morning, INDIA Block and BJP MPs were protesting at Makar Dwar in the Parliament complex. During this, MPs from both the parties came face to face and there was a scuffle. In this, two BJP MPs Pratap Sarangi and Mukesh Rajput got injured. BJP accused Rahul of pushing.

The Women’s Commission gave information about the matter by tweeting at 9 pm on Friday night.
Investigation into Parliament scuffle case, FIR against Rahul under 6 sections
Delhi Police has transferred the Parliament complex scuffle case to the Crime Branch. In this case, FIR was lodged against Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi under 6 sections.
BJP MP from Balasore, Odisha, Pratap Sarangi was injured in the scuffle. Sarangi had alleged that Rahul pushed an MP, who came and fell on him.
When Sarangi came in front of the media, blood was coming out of his head. Apart from Sarangi, BJP MP from Farrukhabad Mukesh Rajput was also injured. Both were admitted to RML Hospital.
The Medical Superintendent of the hospital had said that both the leaders had suffered head injuries. He has been kept in ICU. Pratap Sarangi was bleeding a lot. His wound was also deep, so stitches were required.
After the incident, BJP MPs Anurag Thakur and Bansuri Swaraj had filed a complaint against Rahul under 7 sections of BNS including charges of attempt to murder, threatening and pushing.
However, the police removed Section 109 (attempt to murder) and registered the FIR under only 6 sections. On the other hand, Congress had filed a complaint of misbehavior with Mallikarjun Kharge.
