Indian fighter jet Tejas crashes at Dubai show. Participated in the show for the third time.
Indian Air Force’s Tejas fighter jet has crashed in the Dubai Air Show. The accident occurred during a demo flight at the ongoing air show at Al Maktoum Airport. News agency AP said that this accident happened at 3.40 pm Indian time on Friday.
Tejas pilot has also died in the accident. Indian Air Force has confirmed this. As soon as the plane fell, it caught fire and a plume of black smoke was seen over the airport.
After the accident, the Indian Air Force has set up a court of inquiry to investigate the causes of the fighter plane crash.
This is the second incident of Tejas jet crash of Air Force. Earlier in 2024, Tejas had crashed due to engine failure during maneuvers in Pokhran, Rajasthan.
