Regarding road safety, the District Collector of Daman took a pledge from the owners of Thar and Fortuner to drive safely. During the operation, hundreds of Thars and Fortuners were lined up in an open field in Daman.
Their owners and drivers were lined up in front of the vehicles. Car owners and drivers roamed the grounds carrying posters with road safety messages in their hands. After this everyone took the oath of road safety in Hindi. This operation was carried out on the evening of 9 September.

- It was said in the oath that they will not drive at high speed and will not drive carelessly.
- They will not do stunts, racing or drifting with their car on the road nor will they allow anyone else to do so. Also took an oath not to drive while intoxicated.
- Also resolved not to make any changes to our vehicles without permission. This includes changing the lights or silencer of the vehicle, changing the tires and applying black film on the mirrors.
- He also pledged not to blow horns unnecessarily and follow traffic rules.
Collector asked everyone to share this campaign on social media
Collector Mishra appealed to Thar owners to share this campaign on social media and tag Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra. He said that Mahindra should also take inspiration from this initiative and run a campaign on road safety with Thar across the country.
Daman Deputy Collector Priyanshu Singh said that all Thar and Fortuner owners registered in Daman RTO were called to participate in the Sankalp Yatra. People were asked to remove things like windshields or replace tires and sound systems.
