The claim that the Air India plane crashed was maintained by Turkish Technic. It is wrong. It is a misleading information spread with the aim of influencing Turkas and India’s relations. The agreement between Air India and Turkish Technic in 2024 and 2025 is only associated with the maintenance of B777 wide-bodies maintenance.
The aircraft which fell victim to the 787-8 Dreamliner accident, does not come under the purview of this agreement. Turkish Technic has not maintained any of this type of aircraft of Air India till now. We are aware that which company had maintained the crashed aircraft for the last time, but we will not make any public comments on it to avoid unnecessary speculation.
