Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja remains in the headlines due to her continuous statements. Recently she said in an interview that Govinda is not a good husband. She does not want Govinda to be her husband in the next life. Sunita also said that in the initial years of their marriage, she was not allowed to go out of the house, so that no one could know that Govinda was married.

Recently in Pinkvilla’s interview, Sunita was asked whether she wanted to see Govinda as her husband for seven births. On this Sunita folded her hands and said, ‘No brother, I don’t want it. I had also said in Kapil’s show that Govinda is a very good son, a very good brother, but not a good husband. I have already told you, brother Chichi (Govinda), you should be born as my son, I do not want you as my husband. This birth is enough.

In the conversation, Sunit also told that their marriage was kept a secret for a year. In such a situation, he was not allowed to leave the house. Sunita said, ‘My marriage was not declared for one year. I sat quietly for a year. When later Yash-Tina were born. Then the marriage was declared. What a great sacrifice it was to not leave the house for a year. The trend at that time was that if the hero is married, the fan following reduces. But I said okay.

Sunita further said, ‘I became pregnant immediately. I said, now these people will have to throw me out. How will these people not get fired now? But okay, he was a star in the making. I always supported him whenever he needed me.

Govinda had apologized for Sunita’s statement

Sunita Ahuja had recently said in Paras Chhabra’s podcast – ‘Not every astrologer is right’, to which Sunita replied, “There is one in our house too, Govinda’s priest.” She further said, “They get the puja done and take Rs 2 lakh. I say do the puja yourself, nothing happens with the puja done by them.”

Sunita also said, “God accepts the worship done with your own hands. I do not do devotion by paying money to anyone. Only the one who is afraid is afraid.”

After Sunita’s statement went viral, Govinda apologized on her behalf. Govinda released a video on November 4 and said, “Respected Pandit Mukesh Shukla ji is a very qualified, authentic and very virtuous person. There are very few such select people and families in Uttar Pradesh who have a deep understanding of the Yagya method and experiment. I feel that you and your family are one of them. Our family has been associated with your father, respected Jatadhari ji, for many years. My respected wife said some abusive words about you, for that. I apologize and also refute them.”

He further said, “Pandit Mukesh ji and his family have been with me in difficult times. I respect them a lot.”
