UP News: A very sensational incident has come to light from Ghaziabad district which tears apart sacred relationships. In Vasundhara Sector-1, a woman along with her gym trainer lover attacked her husband with a knife to remove him from the way. However, when the neighbors woke up after hearing the screams, the accused ran away. The police have arrested both the gym trainer’s lover and the conspirator’s wife and have also recovered the knife used in the crime.
This is the case of Jagriti RWA Society of Vasundhara Sector-1 of Indirapuram police station area. The incident took place on October 26 at around 5:15 am. Shashank Kantharia, resident of a house located in Vasundhara Sector-1, was attacked when his wife Priya Sharma was leaving the house to go to the gym.
According to the police, during this time, gym trainer Pratap Singh entered the house and stabbed Shashank several times with a knife. When Shashank, who was seriously injured in the attack, started raising noise, the accused fled from the spot. On receiving the information, the police arrived and immediately admitted him to Yashoda Medicity Hospital.
Police interrogation revealed that Pratap Singh is a trainer at Fitness Headquarters Gym. Priya Sharma used to go to the same gym for exercise for the last 7-8 months. During this time, the closeness between the two grew and their friendship turned into a love relationship.
According to the police, Pratap told during interrogation that both of them wanted to get married. Shashank came to know about their relationship. After this, he was preparing to change his flat and go somewhere else after Diwali.
Police claim that Pratap and Priya met while running on the morning of 25 October. During this time both of them talked about removing Shashank from the way. The next day Pratap reached Priya’s house with a knife.
According to the police, Priya had already opened the gate of the house and Pratap entered inside and started attacking Shashank. After committing the crime he absconded. Watch VIDEO:-
Indirapuram ACP Suryabali Maurya said that on the complaint of Shashank’s brother, a case has been registered against Pratap Singh and Priya Sharma under relevant sections including attempt to murder and criminal conspiracy. Watch VIDEO:-
The police have arrested both of them. The knife used in the attack has been recovered on his notice. The police is investigating the role of both in more depth.
