After Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt and Ananya Panday, now Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kamal Haasan, Varun Dhawan, Imran Khan and Piyush Mishra have also come in favor of the students. Kareena Kapoor said that listening to the demands of the youth of the country is not a favor but it is our duty. Whereas Kamal Haasan has described the current education system as rotten. Kareena Kapoor has shared a note on her Instagram account. She wrote, I was silent on this issue for the last few days, but can no longer remain silent. It is impossible to ignore the youth who raise their voice and this should not happen. Education gives confidence and hope to the child. But education only works when children believe in it. If they feel that honesty, hard work and merit have no meaning, they will lose confidence. Kareena further wrote, “Students deserve a system they can trust. When an entire generation speaks with one voice for their future, listening to them is not a favor, it is our duty. Our children are watching us. They are not preparing for tomorrow, but they are our tomorrow.” Kamal Haasan said – The system is rotten. Actor and leader Kamal Haasan raised questions on the education system of the country on social media platform X. He wrote, “When a child cried, we should have listened. We waited until many children died. A system where learning has been replaced by coaching, eagerness has been replaced by anxiety and merit has been replaced by crime, that system is completely rotten. When children get barricades and sticks instead of answers, the country proves to be a failure.” Kamal Haasan has been sitting on an indefinite hunger strike since June 28. Referring to environmental activist Sonam Wangchuk, he told the children of the country that they have fulfilled their duty for you. Actor Imran Khan himself participated in a protest march organized in Mumbai on Wednesday against the ‘Chalo Sansad’ march in Delhi. He wrote, “When I saw the police using tear gas and lathicharge on students, I was heartbroken. The students who worked hard were betrayed by the system and when they tried to express their views, they were silenced with sticks.” During the Mumbai march, when a young artist asked him why many actors avoid speaking on politics, Imran said, “In true art, the artist has his own point of view. If you cannot stand with your opinion and put your heart into your art, then that art has no value.” Varun Dhawan said – should not be used for political gains. Actor Varun Dhawan also supported the students on Instagram. Varun wrote, “Students are the future of the country. When a student’s dream is broken, not just one dream, but the hopes of the entire family are broken. They have every right to ask questions if the system fails. The authorities should pay attention to their concerns and find a transparent solution. This should remain only a students’ movement and there should not be any kind of politics on it.” Piyush Mishra said – Inquilab Zindabad. While sharing the video on Instagram, senior actor and singer Piyush Mishra gave the slogan ‘Inquilab Zindabad’. Piyush said, “Whatever happened at Jantar Mantar was very sad. I am with the students. Police and kids were hurt, it was all wrong. If the government and administration had listened to the students earlier, this situation would not have arisen.”
