Due to the sourness in relations between India and Canada, many Indians are confused about what effect the diplomatic dispute will have on immigration, work and student visas. Will Canada’s relations with India improve in the future?
.
Will Canada again give visas with the same enthusiasm as it did earlier or will going to Canada and study remain a dream for Indian children? To know the answers to all these questions, Dainik Bhaskar spoke to many leading visa experts of the country and understood all the facts.
Experts believe that the current diplomatic dispute was likely to have a direct impact on visa policies. But it is not that Canada is not giving visas, Canada is giving visas. But children going to Canada and their parents are not sending their children to Canada at this time. A major reason for this is the ongoing dispute between Canada and India.
Canada’s PM Trudeau made allegations against India after meeting PM Modi.
70 percent decline in study visa ratio in Canada Last year, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had accused the Indian government of being involved in the murder of pro-Khalistan leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar on Canadian soil. After which tension has increased between the two countries. India has strongly denied these allegations and continues to do so. After which diplomatic differences arose between the two countries.
Its biggest impact has been on the immigration industry. The number of students going to Canada has declined by about 70 percent. Most of the people going to Canada are Punjabi. After which Haryanvi and Gujarati are also at the top in this list. In such a situation, due to the dispute between the two countries, students who want to make their future by going to Canada have started looking for other options instead of Canada.
Which countries are the first choice of students as an alternative to Canada? According to experts, the decline in Canadian visas is only due to the bitterness between the two countries. Also, the second biggest reason is that Canada has doubled the amount of GIC account for admission in its universities and colleges. In such a situation, Indian students are currently looking for other options instead of Canada. But experts have a completely different opinion on this. Experts say that no country can do like Canada in terms of any kind of visa. Because PR is available quickly in Canada and PR is not available in countries like Australia, America, New Zealand, England. That’s why Canada is the first choice for children. But then if the child looks for any other option other than Canada, then the first choice of the students is Australia. But the visa rules of the Australian government are very strict for Indians. Those whose profile is not clear, their choices are UK, New Zealand and America.

More than 50% decline in the number of children given islets IELTS (International English Language Testing System) test is considered the most important for higher education abroad. At present the inclination of children has gone down by 70 to 75 percent.

Sukant Trivedi, Director of Trivedi Overseas.
2. Dainik Bhaskar Punjab’s leading travel agency Trivedi Overseas Director Sukant Trivedi Had an important discussion regarding Canada Visa. Sukant has more than 25 years of experience in the immigration industry. Throughout his life he has sent millions of children to Canada.
While talking to Dainik Bhaskar, immigration expert Sukant Trivedi said – At present the inclination of students towards Canada is very less. Such a trend has been seen for the last one year. The reason behind this is not just the India Canada dispute, but there are many reasons. The most prominent of which are lack of work in Canada, expensive place to live, promotion of separatists and others. Due to which the situation became worse.
Fearing this, children and their families have turned their backs on Canada. When the Canadian government doubled the GIC for children eight months ago, it also had a significant impact. Earlier the expense of a child used to be only Rs 14 to 15 lakhs, but now this expense has increased to around Rs 25 lakhs. Trivedi further said – Canada has not shown any deficiency in visas. There is a lack of interest in children. These are the reasons for all this.

3. International Education Services A Managing Director Harsaurabh Singh Bajaj Runs a major travel agency of Punjab. Along with travel agencies, children also get other courses including IELTS, after completing which the child becomes eligible to go abroad.
While talking to Dainik Bhaskar, Managing Director of International Education Services, Harsaurabh Singh Bajaj said – Before now, Canada had given visas even to those children who were never eligible for it. From last year till now there has been a bad impact due to the said visa process.
Bajaj further said- Compared to last year, this year only 30 percent children want to go to Canada. The biggest reason for this is that the cost of study and living in Canada has increased a lot. This happened because GIC was double.
