In that project, he designed a turban for a character associated with actor Anupam Kher, which gave him recognition. He was approached for “Dhurandhar 2” about a year and a half later. He remained associated with the film team for about two and a half months. During this time, he made Patiala Shahi and Semi Patiala Shahi style turbans for Ranveer Singh. For Akshay Khanna, he designed a Balochistani style turban, which he learned through videos and photographs and practiced at home.
