He remained associated with the film team for about two and a half months. During this time, he made Patiala Shahi and Semi Patiala Shahi style turbans for Ranveer Singh. For Akshay Khanna, he designed a Balochistani style turban, which he learned through videos and photographs and practiced at home. Giving a message to the youth, Balwinder Singh said, “Keep your hair, decorate turban and join Sikhi.
