The release date of Ajay Devgan’s most awaited film ‘Drishyam 3’ has been revealed. On Monday, the makers released a 1 minute 14 second video to announce Part 3.

The video starts with Ajay Devgan’s dialogue. In the end he says that the story is not over yet, the last part is still left.

This film will be released on 2 October 2026. This date holds special importance in the story of this franchise.

The film’s old star cast Ajay Devgan, Tabu, Shriya Saran and Rajat Kapoor will return in Drishyam 3. Ishita Dutta and Mrinal Jadhav, who played the roles of Ajay’s children in the film, will also return.

There is no news yet about whether Akshay Khanna, who played the role of a policeman in ‘Drishyam 2’, is a part of this film or not. The trailer of the film is expected to release in 2026. Currently the shooting of ‘Drishyam 3’ is going on. The film is being shot in many cities.

Talking about Drishyam franchise, it is a remake of the Malayalam film, which was also named Drishyam in Malayalam. The first part of the film was released in the year 2015, in which the story of Vijay Salgaonkar was shown.

Vijay lives with his family in Goa and uses his intelligence to save his family from the clutches of the law after a murder takes place in their home. This film of director Nishikant Kamat was a huge success and did a worldwide business of Rs 197 crore.

Its sequel was released seven years later i.e. in 2022 and it proved to be a bigger hit than the first part. Drishyam 2 had earned Rs 345 crore worldwide.
