The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WB MCC) will start the first round of choice filling for WB NEET PG 2025 today, November 21, from 6 pm onwards. Candidates who have qualified for the NEET PG 2025 exam can log in to the official website, wbmcc.nic.in, to submit their preferred colleges and courses.
The choice filling for round 1 will remain open until November 24 at 2 pm. Once the process is complete, WB MCC will release the round 1 allotment results on November 27, after 2 pm.
Candidates who are allotted seats in this round must report to their respective colleges between November 28 and December 3. They are required to carry all necessary documents to confirm their admission and complete the formalities.
For candidates who do not get a seat in round 1 or wish to participate in the second round, WB MCC has scheduled round 2 registration from December 8 to 12. The results for the second round will be announced on December 18, and college reporting will take place from December 19 to 24. Candidates are advised to keep track of the official website for updates and deadlines to avoid missing any crucial dates.
WB NEET PG 2025 Bond Rules Explained
The West Bengal NEET PG bond policy 2025 mandates that candidates who discontinue their courses either before or after admission will have to pay a bond penalty. For regular PG courses, the penalty is Rs 3 lakh, while PG diploma students must pay Rs 2 lakh.
Upon completion of their course, open-category candidates must serve a bond period of three years for PG courses and two years for diploma programmes.
Currently, DNB courses are exempt from the discontinuation bond, and post-diploma two-year DNB degree seats are not included in this counselling process.

Candidates are required to submit a discontinuation and indemnity bond on non-judicial stamp paper of at least Rs 100 at the time of admission, along with additional demy sheets if needed. This ensures candidates adhere to the commitment and complete their course as per the state regulations.
