Weather Today LIVE Updates: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall in parts of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand on Friday, July 10, while rainfall activity is expected to ease in Mumbai and much of Maharashtra.
The IMD has issued an orange alert for Delhi, warning of heavy rainfall on Friday. According to the weather department, rainfall activity is likely to decline from July 11.
Rainfall activity is expected to weaken across Mumbai and several other parts of Maharashtra on Friday, with the IMD forecasting light rain over most regions of the state.
An orange alert has been issued for Pune and Satara, while a yellow alert is in place for Raigad, Kolhapur, Buldhana, Akola, Amravati, Nagpur, Chandrapur and Gadchiroli.
The IMD has issued red and orange alerts for several districts in Uttar Pradesh. A red alert, indicating the possibility of extremely heavy rainfall, has been issued for Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Moradabad, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Badaun, Sambhal and Jyotiba Phule Nagar.
An orange alert has been sounded for Sitapur, Hardoi, Bulandshahr, Saharanpur, Kushinagar, Lakhimpur Kheri, Shahjahanpur and Hapur.
