Weather Today, Delhi-NCR Rain, Monsoon Highlights: The national capital woke up with fresh showers on Tuesday morning, with several areas reporting watterlogging and traffic jams.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), moderate rain is expected at many places across Delhi, with heavy to extremely heavy rainfall likely at isolated places. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are also likely over the national capital.
At Safdarjung, the temperature was recorded at 26.6 degrees Celsius at 5:30 am, with 100 per cent humidity. The station recorded 3 mm of rainfall at 8:30 am, according to the IMD.
The rain comes a day after heavy showers triggered waterlogging and traffic disruptions across Delhi-NCR, with several flights also being diverted.
