Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Wednesday admitted lapses in the NEET exam 2026, which was cancelled following allegations of paper leak. However, he said that the central government acted promptly, corrected the lapses and conducted the NEET re-exam successfully.
“We accept that there were lapses on our side and we corrected them,” Pradhan told CNN-News18.
The minister said all states contributed a lot to conducting the NEET exam successfully.
Responding to the opposition’s attacks on the Centre for using the armed forces during the exam, Pradhan said, “What is the problem if the Indian Air Force and CAPF were used for the youth of India?”
