West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari has announced the opening of at least 1,000 schools affiliated with ‘Vidya Bharti’, the education wing of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), across the state within the next one year. CM Suvendu Adhikari said that every district, municipality and panchayat of the state should host a school of Vidya Bharti, the education wing of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), and has set a target of setting up at least 1,000 such institutions in Bengal within the next year. The official made this announcement during an event organized to mark the 74th anniversary of Vidya Bharati in Kolkata.
