The Election Commission of India (ECI) has formally announced the election schedules for the vacant Rajya Sabha seats. Voting will be held on June 18 for a total of 22 Rajya Sabha seats falling vacant after the end of the tenure and retirement of MPs from 10 different states of the country. According to the detailed schedule released by the Election Commission, the time limit for these seats has been fixed from filing of nomination to withdrawal of nominations and declaration of results.
