Parliament Winter Session: The first day of the winter session of Parliament was marred by uproar. Earlier, PM Modi gave advice to the opposition members and said that it is because of them that the House is able to function. Taking aim at some members of the opposition, PM Modi said, “The hue and cry of a handful of people hurts the dignity of Parliament. Such people neither do the work themselves nor allow others to do it. Some MPs do not fulfill their responsibilities. The public is watching their actions and punishing them.”
