Omar Abdullah has taken oath as the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir. Before taking oath, Omar Abdullah paid tribute to Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah at the memorial. Congress party has not joined the government. Congress has decided to support the Omar government from outside. Along with Omar Abdullah, Surinder Chaudhary, Satish Sharma, Sakina Itu have taken oath as ministers from NC. Surinder Chaudhary has been made Deputy CM.
