Haryana IPS Death Case: Haryana IPS Yashpal Puran Kumar (2001 batch) committed suicide by shooting himself with a service revolver in Chandigarh on 7 October 2025. In the 9-page suicide note, he made serious allegations of casteism, mental harassment, false cases, social boycott, loss of reputation against 12-16 IPS/IAS officers (including DGP Shatrujit Kapoor, SP Narendra Bijraniya). Said, “The limits of atrocities have been crossed, DGP should continue to shield Rohtak SP.” Wife of ias amneet kumar added sc/st act, denial of autopsy. DGP sent to Liv, SP transferred. Rahul Gandhi meets the family, demands justice.
