The INDIA bloc’s November 1 rally at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan has received police clearance, but pollution-related vehicle restrictions could affect supporters travelling from neighbouring states. From November 1, Delhi will bar non-BS-VI petrol and diesel vehicles registered outside the capital, while CNG, electric and BS-VI-compliant vehicles remain exempt. Congress leaders Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Pawan Khera reviewed preparations. The Congress has alleged the restrictions could limit rally attendance, while the Delhi government has ruled out exemptions.
