Today Ganesh Chaturthi started with great pomp and show across the country. Ganeshotsav will be celebrated for 10 days from today i.e. till Chaturdashi. On the day of Ganesh Chaturthi, people install clay Ganesha idols in their homes.
This festival is celebrated on the Chaturthi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month. Since this morning, special prayers are being organized in Ganpati pandals in Maharashtra and other parts of the country where thousands of devotees are reaching.
