Delhi IAS Coaching Accident: Police investigation is progressing rapidly in the case of the death of 3 IAS candidates due to drowning in the waterlogging after rain in the basement of a coaching center located in Old Rajendra Nagar, Delhi. On Monday, two days after the accident, the fire brigade department has started the process of cancelling the fire safety clearance of that building. Police have so far arrested a total of 7 accused in this accident, including the owner of the coaching center and the building. They are accused of unintentional murder and death due to negligence. 13 coaching centers have been sealed after the basement accident. This is the biggest action taken so far against the coaching centers running in this area. Coaching centers were being run in the building campus here by ignoring the rules. Meanwhile, the civil authorities have also started bulldozing action near those coaching institutes, where complaints of blockage of drains were received due to encroachment. The problem of waterlogging has increased due to the blockage of drains.
