On Thursday, both the petitions of Arvind Kejriwal were heard in the Supreme Court in the CBI case related to Delhi’s liquor policy. Kejriwal has filed a petition in the Supreme Court against his arrest and for bail. In today’s hearing in the court, CBI opposed Kejriwal’s bail. While Kejriwal’s lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi argued that CBI does not want to let Kejriwal come out. While the same court has said in Manish Sisodia’s case that jail is an exception and bail is the rule. After the hearing was completed, the Supreme Court has reserved the decision on both the petitions of Kejriwal.
