Due to lack of road in Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh, a tribal mother had to carry her sick 12-year-old daughter on her shoulders for about 7 kilometers to the hospital. The village was cut off due to rain. The road whose construction was approved eight years ago is still incomplete. After the incident, the villagers have demanded to provide roads and health facilities soon.
