Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav gave a statement full of hints while avoiding giving a clear answer on the question from which seat he will contest in the UP 2027 assembly elections. He said that the people of Kashi have good knowledge of auspicious and inauspicious times and they will also take the decision which will be auspicious for them. During a program in Varanasi, when he was asked from which seat he would contest the assembly elections, Akhilesh Yadav said, “People of Kashi are very religious. They have a lot of knowledge about what is the auspicious time, what is the bad time. We become Chief Ministers when we do not contest elections, so we will do only that which is auspicious for us.”
