A big revelation has come to light in the murder of millionaire businessman Vineet Minocha in Kanpur. The daughter-in-law Shalu, who was seen crying, has been arrested by the police on charges of murder. The incident occurred at 11:28 pm on Saturday night when the elderly businessman was alone in the flat. Two accused entered the house and first stabbed him 26 times with a knife and then killed him by slitting his throat. In the morning, when the son and daughter-in-law returned from the party, a blood soaked body was found. In CCTV, servant Vishal was seen entering and exiting the flat with his companion. Police arrested both of them after the encounter. Vishal was working for a businessman for the last one year and was fired on charges of theft. He had a duplicate key of the flat, with which he entered as soon as the family left. During interrogation, the accused told that daughter-in-law Shalu had got the murder done by giving betel nut worth Rs 6 lakh. In the call details, 14 conversations have been found between Shalu and the accused. After being arrested, Shalu also confessed to the crime. Evidence of involvement of the businessman’s son has not been found yet, but he is also on the radar of investigation.
