Chandrika Gera Dixit, popularly known as ‘Vada Pav Girl’, is once again in the headlines. His recent video has created a huge stir on social media. Sometimes the video in hijab with Muslim boy Saifi, sometimes trolling about her statements – after all this, Chandrika herself has now come forward and given clarification.
Chandrika says that she and her husband had resolved their mutual dispute on March 8, but the matter was unknowingly linked to religion, hence she maintained silence. Now they feel that they have made a mistake somewhere.
He also made a scathing attack on trolls, saying that they are “moving TRPs” and it is because of them that people’s videos are made. He also said that his intention with the recently made video was not to hurt the sentiments of any religion.
Chandrika clearly said that she respects all religions and apologized for the unintentional mistake. She also announced that in future no Muslim boy will be seen in her videos nor will she make such videos.
At the end of the video he said, “My religion is above all else. Jai Shri Mahakal.”
At the same time, users on social media are strongly criticizing Chandrika for this entire incident and are calling her drama “overacting”.
