Earthquake tremors were felt in many states of North India including Delhi. The epicenter of the earthquake is said to be near Joshimath in Uttarakhand. According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the intensity of the earthquake was measured at 4.9. Tremors were felt in many areas including Delhi-NCR, Uttarakhand and Haryana. However, it is a matter of relief that at present no information has been received about any loss of life or property.
