Qum (Iran): On Tuesday, a large number of people took out a rally in support of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in the religious city of Qum in Iran. The people participating in this rally gave a message of solidarity by raising slogans against America and Israel.
Zameer Jafari, a scholar at Al Mustafa University, told NDTV that in recent days, the media of many western countries were propagating that the people of Iran have turned against the government and leadership. But today’s rally is the answer to that propaganda. Jafari said, “People are clearly saying that we are all Iranians, we are all one.”
The participants in the rally raised slogans against America and Israel – “Down with America, Down with Israel” and also raised slogans of “Haider Haider” in a display of religious fervor. This demonstration is being considered a symbol of loyalty to the leadership in Iran and solidarity against external pressures.
