The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the interview schedule for the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Examination 2024. Candidates who have passed the Main examination can view and download the interview schedule from the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in. The interviews will take place from December 9 to December 12, 2024. The result of the Main written test was previously declared on August 14, 2024.

The UPSC personality test schedule includes important details such as the roll numbers of the candidates, the specific date and day of their interview, and the assigned session (morning or afternoon).

“The Commission has decided to commence the Personality Tests (Interviews) of written qualified candidates of Combined Geo-Scientist Examination, 2024 from 9th December 2024. The e-Summon Letters of Personality Tests (Interviews) of the candidates will be made available shortly, which may be downloaded from the Commission’s website https://www.upsc.gov.in & https://www.upsconline.nic.in,” the official notice reads.

It is important to note that candidates will not be allowed to change the date or time of their assigned Personality Test (Interview).

Additionally, the commission will reimburse outstation candidates for their travel expenses to attend the interviews/PT boards. However, these candidates must meet the following conditions:

– Second/Sleeper class train price (Mail Express) will be reimbursed if the applicants travel by rail, regardless of class, under paragraph 132 of the Supplementary Rules.

– Candidates travelling by train must submit hard copies/printouts of both the onward and return tickets, along with a completed T.A. claim form (in duplicate). These forms can be accessed on the UPSC website under the Forms and Downloads section.

The commission also specified in the notice that candidates must carefully adhere to the requirements indicated above when making travel arrangements for the interview.

The Main exam for the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist recruitment was conducted on June 22 and 23, 2024. While the preliminary test was administered on February 18, 2024.
