Honda Motorcycle and Scooters India has launched the updated version of its bike XL750 Transalp in India. Its ex -showroom price is ₹ 10.99 lakhs. These bikes will start meeting Honda’s premium bigving dealerships from July 2025. This bike is perfect for long highway tours and off-road adventures.
The bike has become more stylish and took-tashed than before. Its design is inspired by Honda’s flagship bike Africa Twin. The new dual LED projector headlamps and aerodynamic wisors give it a cool look. Also, the sunlight in its 5-inch TFT display is also visible and it comes with Honda Roadsink connectivity. The suspension is also upgraded, so that the rough paths are ride and smooth.
Design and look
The design of the XL750 Translap is correct for both City and Off-Road. Its toll stance, 218 k-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels give it a rugged look. Aerodynamic vizor and dual LED headlamps give premium feel like Africa Twin. The bike will be available in Ross White and Graphite Black two color options. Its new windscreen protects the rider from the air, making long rides comfortable.
Riding modes and electronic features
It has 5 riding modes- Sport, Standard, Rain, Gravel and User. That is, you can set engine power, braking and traction control according to your need. Honda selectable torque control (HSTC) and dual-channel ABS increase safety. You can control navigation, calls, messages and music by connecting the phone to the roadsink app. Four-way togle switch has been given for this. It also has smart features like emergency stop signal and auto turn signal cancellation.
Performance and Mileage
The engine of 755cc gives the balance of power and torque, which is the best for control in speed and off-road on the highway. The company claims that its mileage is around 23 kmpl, which is fine for this size Adv bike. Its fuel tank is also big for long rides, so there will be no tension to fill petrol again and again.

The bike has a 755cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine, which gives 90.5 bhp power (at 9,500 rpm) and 75 Nm of torque (at 7,250 rpm). The engine comes with a 6-speed gearbox, which has a throttle-by-weer (TBW) technology. That is, power delivery is smooth and controlled. The fuel-injection system has also been tuned, so that low and mid-range get better response.
Suspension and braking system
The bike has Showa 43mm USD Front Forks and Pro-Link Rear Monoshock, which has been tuned for rough paths. Suspension damping has been improved in the 2025 model, so that the control roads also remain controlled. The dual for braking is a 310mm front disc and 256mm rear disc, which comes with dual-channel ABS. That is, city or off-road, its breaking power is fantastic.
Competitors
In India, this bike will compete with Sujuki V-Storm 800de, BMW F-900 GS, Triumph 900, and KTM 890 Adventure R. The balanced design, smooth engine, and affordable price of XL750 keeps it slightly ahead in the competition. If you want a middleweight adv, it is a solid option.
