UGC NET June 2025 Exam Timetable: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET June 2025 examination timetable According to the official schedule, UGC NET 2025 June session will commence on June 25 and the exam will be held until June 29. Candidates can now check and download their UGC NET June 2025 Timetable through the official website – ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The exam will be held in two shifts each day between June 25 to June 29. The first shift will be held from 9 AM to 12 PM and the second shift exams will be conducted from 3 PM to 6 PM. The NTA will release the UGC NET 2025 exam city intimation for the June session on the website – ugcnet.nta.ac.in, approximately 10 days before the exam date.

UGC NET June 2025: Exam Pattern

The UGC NET exam is a three-hour test comprising 150 multiple-choice questions, divided into two papers. The exam is conducted in both English and Hindi, except for language-related subjects.

Paper 1 includes 50 questions carrying a total of 100 marks. It evaluates general teaching aptitude, logical reasoning, reading comprehension, research aptitude, and overall awareness.

Paper 2 features 100 subject-specific questions, carrying 200 marks in total, based on the candidate’s chosen field. Each question carries 2 marks, and there is no negative marking for wrong answers.

The UGC NET is held twice a year and serves as a qualifying exam for candidates aspiring to become Assistant Professors, receive the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), or pursue PhD programmes in universities and colleges across India.
