UGC NET June 2025 Result Declared: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results of the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2025 session. The exam was conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode between June 18 and 21 across various centres nationwide.
Candidates who took the exam can now access their scorecards by visiting the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Candidates will need to submit their application number and date of birth to check and download their scorecards.

Over 1.88 Lakh Candidates Qualify In June 2025 Cycle
Out of the 10,19,751 candidates who registered for the June cycle, 7,52,007 appeared for the exam. Based on their performance and the prescribed cut-off criteria, the following number of candidates have qualified:

5,269 candidates qualified for both JRF and Assistant Professorship

54,885 qualified for Assistant Professorship and PhD admission

1,28,179 qualified for PhD admission only

Candidates who score the minimum qualifying marks in their respective subject and category are deemed eligible for the corresponding levels.
The UGC NET is a national-level eligibility examination conducted for three primary purposes — recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor, awarding of the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and admission to PhD programmes in Indian colleges and universities.
Candidates who qualify for the JRF are eligible for funded research fellowships in universities and may also apply for Assistant Professor roles.
Those qualifying for the Assistant Professorship are eligible to apply for teaching positions at colleges and universities across the country.
