Amidst the ceasefire in West Asia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is under attack again. UAE says that Iran has attacked it and it has activated its air defense system. UAE’s missile defense system is responding to Iranian missiles and drone attacks. The Defense Ministry of UAE informed about this attack on X on Tuesday night. The Defense Ministry said that the sounds coming are related to intercepting ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and drones.
UAE had earlier said that on Monday iran Was attacked by. This attack happened when America was taking steps towards reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Tuesday’s attack is the second consecutive attack on UAE by Iran.
On Monday, Iran carried out massive attacks on UAE. The UAE said it intercepted 15 missiles and four drones fired from Iran on Monday. This was the first time after the ceasefire between US and Iran on April 8 that it was targeted.
A drone strike caused a “major” fire in the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone and injured three Indian nationals. According to UAE officials, Iran also attacked an empty crude oil tanker belonging to Abu Dhabi’s state oil company as it was trying to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
The Iranian government has not made any official comment on these attacks. But Iran issued a statement blaming “US military arbitrariness” for this.
Meanwhile, US President Trump has said that the US has defeated Iran very badly. Trump said that now they have been reduced to small boats with machine guns installed on the front.
He said, “All the ships they had are lying under water at the bottom of the sea.”
On Iran’s nuclear program, he said, “These are sick people, and we will not let nuclear weapons fall into the hands of these madmen.” Trump said that now Iran is somehow trying to save its existence.
