The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has announced the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) and Telangana State PG Law Common Entrance Test (TS PGLCET) results 2026 date and time. Osmania University, Hyderabad will be releasing the scorecards today, June 4 at 4 PM. Candidates who appeared for TS LAWCET-2026 can download their rank cards from the official website, lawcet.tgche.ac.in, once out.

TS LAWCET 2026 Results: How To Check?

Step 1: Visit the official TS LAWCET website – lawcet.tgche.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the link that says ‘TS LAWCET Result 2026’ to open the result portal.

Step 3: Enter your login credentials, including registration number and password, then click on “Submit” or “View Result”.

Step 4: Your TS LAWCET 2026 result will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Download the result and take a printout for future reference.

TS LAWCET Passing Marks

The qualifying percentage of marks is 35% (that is, 42 marks out of a total of 120 marks) fpr general category candidates. For candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, their is no minimum qualifying marks.

However, candidates must note that merely qualifying in the Entrance Test does not entitle a candidate to admission into the LL.B. 3/5 Year course. Candidates will clear the exam will have to take part in the counselling process. Further, the candidate must also satisfy the merit and statutory reservations, as applicable.

TG LAWCET Ranking Process

Candidates will be ranked in order of merit based on the marks obtained in TG LAWCET-2026. In case of a tie, the relative rank will be decided as follows:

(i) By considering the marks secured in Part-C of TG LAWCET. If the tie still persists, the marks obtained in Part-B of TG LAWCET shall be taken into consideration.

(ii) If the tie still persists, the candidates may be bracketed together for the purpose of ranking, and seniority in age may be considered at the time of admission.

(iii) The rank obtained in TG LAWCET-2026 is valid for admission into the 3-year/5-year Law Course, as applicable, for the academic year 2026-2027 only.

What After Results?

Candidates who qualify in TS LAWCET 2026 will be eligible to participate in the seat allocation process. Applicants from the unreserved category will be allotted seats in the first phase of counselling, while candidates from reserved categories will be allotted seats in the second phase.
