US President Donald Trump is set to take part in virtual talks on Ukraine on Wednesday, ahead of his much-anticipated meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday, according to a White House official cited by CNN.
Germany said on Monday it was convening a series of top-level video conferences on Wednesday to prepare for the summit, including one at 1500 CET (1300 GMT) between European leaders, Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelenskiy, Trump and US Vice President JD Vance.
