Hezbollah rejected any “partial ceasefire” with Israel, insisting it would not halt attacks in exchange for Israel sparing Beirut.

US-Israel-Iran War: The West Asia conflict continues to evolve rapidly, with fresh military strikes, diplomatic efforts and threats of further escalation in the region.
The fighting between Israel and Hezbollah continued even after US President Donald Trump’s announcement that the fighting would stop. On Tuesday, Israeli airstrikes hit dozens of locations across southern Lebanon, killing at least five people, including a child, while Hezbollah continued its attacks on northern Israel. Later, Washington hit a vessel, which was allegedly attempting to reach an Iranian port.

Amid the fighting, diplomatic activity has also accelerated. Israeli and Lebanese officials held a fourth round of direct talks in Washington.
US President Donald Trump also sought to dispel reports that negotiations with Iran had collapsed, insisting that talks between the two sides were continuing and urging Tehran to reach an agreement.

- US Forces Stop Another Ship Bound for IranUS forces on Tuesday fired a missile at a vessel attempting to sail towards an Iranian port in violation of Washington’s maritime blockade, disabling the ship. The US military said it has now forcibly halted six vessels accused of breaching the blockade imposed on April 13.
- Trump Says US-Iran Talks ContinuingUS President Donald Trump dismissed reports that talks between Washington and Tehran had been suspended, insisting that negotiations are continuing. “The conversations between us have been going on continuously,” Trump said, adding that discussions had taken place every day over the past week. While acknowledging uncertainty over the outcome, he urged Iran to strike a deal. “Where they lead, one never knows, but as I told Iran, ‘It’s time, one way or another, for you to make a Deal. You’ve been doing this for 47 years, and it cannot be allowed to go on any longer,'” Trump said on Truth Social.
- Israeli Strikes Kill Five in Southern LebanonIsraeli attacks across southern Lebanon killed at least five people, including a child, and wounded 48 others, according to Lebanon’s health ministry. Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency reported Israeli strikes on nearly 30 locations across the south, with several attacks resulting in casualties.
- Israel Intercepts Projectiles From LebanonThe Israeli military said it intercepted two projectiles launched from Lebanon. No injuries were reported. Israel has been battling Hezbollah since the Iran-backed group entered the broader regional conflict by launching attacks on Israel on March 2 in support of Tehran.
- Fresh Israel-Lebanon Talks Held in WashingtonIsraeli and Lebanese officials met in Washington for a fourth round of direct talks since the current conflict began, amid efforts to prevent further escalation.
- Rubio Sees Possibility of Israel-Lebanon Peace DealUS Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Israel and Lebanon could reach a peace agreement within days if not for Hezbollah’s role in the conflict. He also stressed that Israel has no territorial claims in Lebanon.
