US President Donald Trump on Friday demanded Microsoft to dismiss his Global Affairs President Lisa Monaco immediately. Trump described Monaco as corrupt and completely anti -trump in a post on social media platform Truth Social. Apart from this, he was also accused of threatening national security.
Trump says that he is a threat to America due to Monaco’s previous government roles. He wrote, “Microsoft has big contracts with the US government, so Monaco is a risk for national security.”
Monaco should be fired immediately
Trump claimed that the US government recently snatched all his security clearances due to Monaco’s wrong antics, he was stopped from access to national security intelligence information and banned his entry into all federal properties.
Trump said, “In my opinion, Microsoft should immediately remove Lisa Monaco from his job.” However, Microsoft has not yet given any official reply to Trump’s demand.
Trump described Monaco as corrupt and anti -Trump in his social media platform Truth Social. Apart from this, he was accused of endangering National Security.
Who is Lisa Monaco?
According to Reuters, Lisa Monaco started work at Microsoft in July and is holding the responsibility of the company’s Global Government Relations. Their linkedIn profile also confirms this. Prior to this, she has been a National Security Advisor in the administration of former US President Barack Obama.
Monaco also played an important role in the action of the Justice Department in response to the capital attack on 6 January and who was the Deputy Attorney General in Biden’s administration. Trump believes that Monaco took part in legal actions against him in the Biden administration, due to which he should not hold such a sensitive position in Microsoft.
Not for the first time when Trump targeted opponents
This is not the first time Trump has targeted his opponents. Since his return to the White House in January, he demanded action against several people, including names such as former National Security Advisor John Bolton and Democratic Senator Adam Shif.
