US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor on Tuesday took to social media to outline key milestones achieved between New Delhi and Washington as he completed 100 days in office.
Highlighting progress, Gor pointed to the bilateral trade agreement announced in February and said the partnership was already “delivering results”, adding that “this is just the beginning”.
“This is just the beginning. The United States and India aren’t just talking — we’re delivering results,” he said in a video shared on social media.
Marking the milestone, Gor listed key areas of engagement, including the India-US trade deal announcement, New Delhi’s entry into Pax Silica, strengthened defence cooperation and outreach to government and business leaders across both countries.
“100 days in as US Ambassador to India — and we’ve hit the ground running! From advancing a major U.S.-India trade deal, welcoming India into Pax Silica, strengthening defense cooperation, and engaging leaders across government and business — the momentum is undeniable,” he said.

He also noted his recent visit to Washington, where he met US President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio to further deepen what he described as a “critical partnership”.
Gor assumed office in January 2026 and said he was focused on advancing the Trump administration’s priorities while strengthening the US-India relationship.
“Namaste! Today marks my first day at the US Embassy in New Delhi. I am honoured to join this dedicated team and eager to get to work advancing President Donald Trump’s priorities and deepening the US-India partnership. I couldn’t be more optimistic about the days ahead for both of our nations under President Trump’s leadership,” Gor said on his first day as US envoy to India.
The 38-year-old Gor rose quickly in conservative politics to become one of the most powerful, if low-profile, aides in the White House with a task of vetting some 4,000 appointees to ensure utmost loyalty to Trump.
