Rahul Gandhi has expressed displeasure over the reaction of some Congress leaders on the results of West Bengal elections. Rahul criticized his party leaders and leaders of other parties who were giving a ‘devious smile’ on the defeat of CM Mamata Banerjee. He said the opposition’s defeat was just a “big step” for the BJP in its “mission to destroy India’s democracy”. And on this occasion, Congress and other party leaders should keep aside their petty politics.
Former Shiv Sena-UBT MP Priyanka Chaturvedi also termed being happy like this as ‘shameful’.
TMC has fallen face down in the tsunami of BJP in West Bengal. The party has got only 80 seats. Whereas Congress has won 2 seats.
Reacting to Bengal results Rahul Gandhi wrote, “Congress and some other leaders are rejoicing over TMC’s defeat. They should understand this clearly, theft of the mandate of Assam and Bengal is a big step in BJP’s mission to destroy Indian democracy.”
Rahul further said, “Leave aside petty politics. This is not about any one party. This is about India.”
However, it is not clear which Congress leader Rahul is referring to.
This is the second time that Rahul Gandhi Mamata Banerjee Have stood in favor of. Earlier on Monday, he had said, “We agree with Mamata ji. More than 100 seats have been stolen in Bengal.”
Priyanka Chaturvedi said that it is shameful to see the kind of happiness being expressed from within ‘INDIA Alliance’ over the failure of TMC and DMK. A similar ‘crooked smile’ was seen even when Arvind Kejriwal and Tejashwi Yadav lost the elections and also during the recent split in AAP. And now he has targeted Akhilesh Yadav for the upcoming UP elections.
The former Rajya Sabha MP said that voters reject exactly this kind of division and BJP takes advantage of this. The opposition in 2024 was not led by any one party, rather it was a joint and joint effort of all the parties. So please remember the spirit in which ‘INDIA Alliance’ was formed.
Even though Rahul did not take the name of any leader, there were Congress leaders in the political circles of the state. Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary The statement of is discussed.
Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary said that BJP entered Bengal only with the support of Mamata Banerjee. He said, “Mamata Banerjee rolled out the red carpet and arranged banquets for BJP. And now TMC is having to suffer the consequences.”
Adhir Ranjan had further said, “There was a saffron wave and an anti-incumbency wave in Bengal which would bring such results, people had the idea of change but it was beyond our thinking that TMC would remain without a trace.
The Congress leader said that there was no party named BJP in Bengal. Mamta shook hands with BJP and invited them here and brought them here, today they have to suffer this. TMC’s cunningness has become the reason for their defeat.
Let us tell you that Adhir Ranjan also contested the elections from Baharampur but he lost to the BJP candidate.
